💰 Wealth & Worship ⛪️

For many years America had a unique blend of wealth and worship that puzzled the rest of the world.  Moslem nations had the worship, but failed to achieve the wealth.  Countries that were Buddhist also had the worship, but they to lacked the wealth.  Predominately Catholic nations celebrated their worship, but failed to attain the wealth.  Atheist nations worshipped the state, but they also lacked the wealth.  What was it about America?  Were wealth and worship linked in some way?

How did we prosper in a nation of wealth and worship?   It looks like we are now losing both.  Science promised to unleash us from the burden of worship while leading us into greater wealth.  Did that happen?  We have indeed lost our spirit of worship, but it also appears we are losing our wealth.  Was it because of science?  We must admit that religion has lost its halo effect in the past three decades, but it was not because science drove God from the public square.
