Now, to be clear, no one earns God’s favor by doing good. The call to be a force for good is not some man-centered, works-based gospel. On the contrary, being a force for good is God’s intended result for those who know very well that they are not good, but that God has been good to us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
